PollyGrind's 2010 Links
Here you will find links to articles, blogs, etc. about our event. If you have one we haven't linked to, send it our way (CCF@Pollystaffle.com).
Arrow in the Head - Oh yes, there will be blood! And booze! And hookers!
Dread Central - In Dread Central's effort to promote independent horror, have we got the goods on a great horror film festival in Las Vegas!
Frankenstein vs. The Wolfman - Frankenstein vs the Wolfman in 3D will be screening as part of the Polly Staffle Grindhouse Fest on May 16th at the Science Fiction Retail & Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada!
John Fallon
- Am pretty happy about it, felt like the right place for RH to go
after its trek at Sitges 2008 (we premiered the rough cut - yeah - not
a good idea BTW) and its win of the Indie Spirit Award at the
Australian Fest One Night of Horror in 2009.
JRH Films - Well it's taken long enough, but it appears that my film Scars of Youth will make it's world premiere as the opening film of the Polly Staffle Grindhouse Fest (or Pollygrind) in Las Vegas on Wednesday, May 12th on a "Post Apocalyptic Nightmare" double feature with Greg Lamberson's Slime City Massacre, the follow-up to his eighties cult classic Slime City.
Las Vegas Review-Journal - Programmed in the tradition of '50s and '60s "grindhouse" theaters with double and triple bills featuring everything from horror to animation to sexploitation.
Las Vegas Weekly - There's a fine line, certainly, between underground genre weirdness and artistic ambitions, and the festival will no doubt do everything possible to blur it.
Rubber Blog - A new screening (and look) for "The Bet." PollyGrind will premiere the "Midnight Movie" version of "The Bet" AND the music video for the song from the film "Hallway."
Scum of the Earth - The
Polly Staffle Grindhouse Festival will feature Scum of the Earth's
music video for the hit single "Get Your Dead On" at 7pm, on Thursday
May 13th. The music video was directed by Rob Prior (Buffy the Vampire
Slayer) & Paul Jenkins (Spiderman, Wolverine, Teenage Mutant Ninja
Turtles) of The Collective.
28 Days Later Analysis

include: Vaginal Holocaust, Caged Lesbos A-Go-Go, Orgy of Blood, The

Twisted Twins Productions - Dead Hooker in a Trunk is finally going to the hometown of dead hookers found in trunks (or so CSI has told me) - fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada!
